Abstract
An evening discussing the various ways perl can help you build and
maintain your web presence. We will look at the various ways perl
can be used to build both static and dynamic web pages, including
mod-perl. Perl can also be used to check your site and analyse your
logs. All this and more, anything relating to perl and the web is
on the menu.
Speaker Bio
Burke has been programming computers for 25 years.
He has been developing Internet based applications for 8 years.
Recent projects have included been building a system to hide
discreet data sources from consumer applications via HTTP and XML.
Burke Gallagher, is currently with Petco Petroleum, where he uses perl
to coax oil and gas from the earth.
