With virtualization one of the hot topics the past couple of years, people are scrambling to find new and innovative ways to virtualize their applications and get the most speed and best bang for their buck. This talk will be focusing on one of the lesser talked about types of virtualization and, using OpenVZ as an example, show some of the advantages and disadvantages to using these technologies over VMWare, KVM, or Xen. Note: Code will be provided to help people easily setup a testing environment of their own. It is suggested that you bring a machine with an Ubuntu 8.04 VM already built if you would like to play along.
