This presentation touches on the numerous technologies that Fermilab's Computer Security Team has woven together in their pursuit to build a comprehensive security plan for the Lab.
The majority of the solutions that CST implements are Unix based technologies, many open source, that are tied together with scripting languages and other glue-tools. Together, these technologies allow CST to be effective in maintaining the positive security posture of the Lab.
Tim Rupp has been with Fermilab's Computer Security Team for 2 years and is responsible for a majority of the evaluation, design, and technical implementation of the software in CST's security infrastructure.
