General Meeting
DNS Administration
Mike Beirne
Tuesday, July 25, 7:00-9:00 pm
College of DuPage Room K-161
Abstract
DNS is the method used on the Internet to translate names to IP addresses
and from IP addresses to names. Setting up and maintaining DNS is vital
to the reliability of any network connected to the Internet. Correct
procedures and an understanding of the theory behind how it works will
make it much easier to maintain and to debug problems.
