Twitter is a popular social media platform in which users post message updates of 140 characters or less. Why do people use it? Who are these users? What do all those funny symbols like # and @ mean? This brief presentation will provide an overview of the emerging medium of Twitter and discuss its relevance in today's social media landscape.
As usual we will be having a "Meeting After the Meeting" for talk and drinks afterwards at the Gordon Biersch restaurant in the Bolingbrook Promenade outside mall. The link goes to the restaurant's Bolingbrook website with a clickable, expandable map.
