Pete DuMelle

Tuesday May 24th 2011 at 7:00pm
Wheaton, Illinois Institute of Technology - Rice Campus, Room 103

Abstract

For those who have staged up computer controlled electronics projects, the options available are very costly and proprietary. Pete will present an overview of Arduino, an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software, intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. He will discuss the programming language, how the hardware can be built or acquired and examples of how he has used Arduino.
